almost all the (good) keygens and cracks come up as virus, trojan, etc because if they are a crack, it contains multiple PE headers which also is used in viruses to rewrite headers of good files, for cracks this is needed to patch the EXE file and is harmless (usually). The only way to be 100% sure is if you think you can TRUST the source. Besides, newer virus/trojans use stealth techniques to hide their patching code and data making the original archive quite difficult to identify until a fingerprint of the identified virus has been uploaded to the virus software's online database -- assuming you auto-update your virus database often, which is 50/50 for most people... so....... try not to report viruses and if it really is one, make sure you say VERIFIED VIRUS IN FILE (FILENAME.EXT) and be sure to site the hash so we know what to look for in the future : ) thanks
