The recommendations I do are from anime I've watched and thought worthy of a recommendation. I try to stay away from commercially popular anime. Though I do have some on my list that are opposite of what I go for, they are there for good reason. . I will however never recommend Death Note, One Piece, Bleach, or Naruto. To me those are good anime, but not great. They are popular because they are on TV in almost every country. I like to push anime people may not have heard about. It is. My dad used to get hammered and stoned out of his gourd playing poker every Saturday night. Then he'd drive home 10 miles while fully loaded and proceed to make eggs and bacon. .
