Well, my biggest problem here in the KAT it's I'm a newbie/noob and - most of the time - I have no idea how to do things and where I can find the answer from basics to complex problems.
So, my idea is to improve the quality and accuracy of the FAQ section, helping those (me and thousands of news one) who need it. We could include tutorials when necessary, images, texts and keep that information always updated.
I'm pretty sure the number of threads/forum will decrease - I have a lot of trouble trying find them,...rs - and things will flow easier, even for some veterans when they need some specific information.
Example: when I first join this amazing community I called myself Cesar.Rhodes, and soon enough I realized I didn't want that nickname anymore, so i decided change it for a short one. I know I could do it, and I looked for the answer several times, with no luck. I read FAQ and, even so, couldn't solve such a little problem, because this topic it was not correct according to the provided information. So I PM a friend and got what I needed. (I was less than a month here).
Rewarding each topic with 1 point will influence the user to read, and solve their one problem before PM someone else.
And finally, every time a new question show up, those responsable for FAQ could update or create a new topic, just like an index.[draft] in Site Mechanics, Design and Development
