I like the Idea, but it would be very hard to implement,

disliked, even if everyone was being honest and genuinely rated negative because they disagree knowing who the user was would cause a lot of arguments and upset, also agree with Gaz below.

I understand you... to an extent, but you could have such a long list of names (I've seen +17 rating before!). Also, what about anonymous ratings? You would also need to separate the + and - ratings on every comment. What would be better is to put say the last 5 ratings ( + or - ) and make it only visible to the user.

Defiantly a good Idea, especially when we know there is a reason for when someone marks negative against you for no reason

I wouldn't mind if we could keep track of our own mods up/down
but I seriously don't like the idea of others knowing exactly who modded them, my block list would grow because too many people just get focused on it
it doesn't matter the reason why I mod someone down, I disagree with their comment or think they don't know what they're talking about, jumping to conclusions, or I just don't like their picture or name but if I have to start dealing with messages from these people now I've got a problem
some people really can be crazy psycho harassers creating all kinds of new accounts just to send me messages because I block them
sometimes even following me from site to site doing these things
I even once was unfortunate enough to have one insane person find my home address
so no, I vote against this, no way

It happend to me to and it took me a while until i find which post is rated positive or negative and why sometimes maybe i said something inappropriate and i like to apologize to people and im not able to do so because sometime i post thousand of posts in one or more threads so thumbs up for this one
