This torrent is not a fake. I installed the game and it plays fine, even on my crappy computer. Here's what you do: 1. Run Install.exe to install the game. 2. Go to the directory where you installed the game to. 3. Create a shortcut with these properties: Target: "C:Half-Life 2hl2.exe" -steam -console Start in: "C:Half-Life 2" Or wherever you installed the game to. That's the default directory for the installer. Then double-click your shortcut and the game should start right up.

Game works. No need to create shortcuts or the above crappy procedure just rename hl2.exe to hl2-steam-console.exe

salut aider moi svp .....j'ai installer le jeux et aussi j'ai renommer hl2.exe et sa marche pas .....quand je lance le jeux une page s'ouvre:::ERROR:: UNABLE TO GET FILE SYSTEM INTERFACE FROM FILESYSTEM FACTORY.........aider moi j'attend la repense et merci?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Here's what you have to do in order to run the game:
1. Go to Install.exe and install the game, this might 10 minutes to install.
2. After the install is done, go to the directory of where the Half Life 2 is located for and example: "C:HalfLife2".
3. Rename the "hl2.exe" to "hl2-steam-console.exe"
4. If you are getting any other errors, run the game in windows xp service pack 3 in compatibility mode.
