fun. is an indie pop band from New York formed in 2008 by Nate Ruess , formerly of The Format . He formed the band with Andrew Dost from Anathallo and Jack Antonoff from Steel Train . Their debut album, Aim and Ignite, was released August 25, 2009. The band has recently signed with record label Fueled by Ramen. On September 14, 2010 fun. released a deluxe version of "Aim & Ignite" in both Canada and America which included the original 12 tracks, as well as two remixes by R.A.C, music videos, and a newly recorded song called "Stitch Me Up".
