In all honesty you are pretty safe uploading.
They don't go after you for upping unless you are a release group or a source.
They also don't unless you upload thousand+ files a day.
The real threat is when you download.

while internet " Piracy " laws do differ from country to country .
the vast majority of " copyright notices " , fines and even court cases .
are for those users who get caught " downloading " .
so unless your country or ISP has banned users from contacting P2P sites altogether ?
then you shouldn't have any worries about uploading to KAT .
i got 3 " copy-right notices " in 2011 .
all for " downloading " NEW movie releases .
my ISP did not turn over my personal information .
this was a first-step , warning only .
but i was warned that my personal information may be released .
the next time a copy-right holder made a complaint against my IP .
in fact , of all the " copy-right " comments i have seen here at KAT .

They came after me for the billboard uploads :/ by came after me i mean, my internet provider received complaints on my ip address on takedowns, they gave me a warning otherwise they would no longer allow me to get internet through them, now i just got seedbox
