Major League and Down Periscope are my choices. They are funny and easy to watch or just have on in the background without thinking too much.
Never really was a Skye fan, but wow, just WOW! The scene where she goes in to rescue Lincoln was one of the best action scenes in the show, and that is definitely saying something!
And for once I have to say that the camera work was spot on and not trying to shift and hide punches and kicks, or look like they were filming the Blair Witch Project. ;)
I should have seen this episode before Ultron, the opening of Ultron makes a little more sense now.
And (yes, another "and" :D) I really like Ward as the is he/isn't he, a good guy. I liked him as a bad guy, but I like him even more as this kinda in between. Excellent role and I think suited to the actor's style.
I swear, Liz is SUCH a drama queen. Really, showing up in the pouring rain and not saying a word.....(facepalm)
Scr@w you Bones, you've let us all down
Yeah, I thought Bones' ground game would be the deciding factor against Johnson. With Johnson and Cormier I expect more of a stand up slug fest. It might not be too bad to watch. It will definitely come down to who can get in the last power shot. I don't see it going the distance. If there was a pick 'em for this, I would probably say Cormier KO in 3...maybe 4.
Depends on the movie. If it's one I just have a casual interest in seeing, I usually just watch in on my PC with VLC player. Otherwise, I still go old school and use Convert X to DVD, burn it to a disc (usually 3 movies to a disc) and watch it in my DVD player on my 32" television.
One of the better episodes in recent memory. I loved how Shield, the "Real" Shield, Hydra and the Inhumans all converged at the one place. A truly exciting episode!
I am glad they aren't overplaying Sky and her powers.....yet. I was hoping to get more into Raina and see if she really can see into the future. I really felt sorry for her that she ended up looking like that.
It has piqued my interest again, but just too many breaks in between episodes. :(
UFC on Fox 15. I have to admit, that my hubris allows me to believe that I could hold my own with most of the UFC fighters, but I have to admit I was honestly shaken when I saw,
how Souza owned Camozzi. That was some awesome Jiujitsu! He was relentless with the attack and I actually felt bad for Camozzi as it was obvious he was out skilled on the ground. What got me shook, was I was watching what Camozzi was doing and I was like "that seems reasonable and probably what I would do". 0_0.
So happy about Machida. ;)
It's funny because this is exactly what I was PM'ing Pringlescan21.54K about after the last event. :D. This was his answer via PM:
"Decisions, split, unanimous are the same scoring as picking a round and getting it right.
TKO, KO, Stoppage, injury are all the same
Submission is the same as picking all subs.".
So I would say that if you choose the correct fighter and DEC then you would get 5 points. But I think that even if you choose the wrong fighter, but it goes to a DEC you still get 3 points, like if you chose SUB/Rd 3 but the wrong fighter.
I can't believe I missed out on this Pick 'Em. Especially with my "favourite" Machida fighting. (double facepalm on me)
lol. At least he was aggressive. XD.
And what happened to your picks in the Pick 'Em?
