I didn't realize that Coulson's ex was Root from Person of Interest. Nice. :) Pretty decent episode, but still more filler.
Bump, one week to go!
Bellator 117 nothing really special. Lima looks so big for 170. And of course my man crush, Marcin Held, doing what he does best! :D If that boy could just get a stand up game he would dominate the sport!
Rampage vs King Mo in a couple of weeks, and then I don't get the sense in it, but Tito Ortiz vs Shlemenko o_0.
Nelson vs Nog...never been a Big Nog fan, even back in the day, but I definitely enjoyed his fight against Hunt. I agree with Dana, he should retire. I have always like Nelson when he came to fight, even if didn't LOOK like he came to fight. I thought he looked decent, but certainly not championship material. Speaking of which...
SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN Browne vs Werdum...
I agree with Pringlescan11249 that Browne was overhyped, in fact I never really thought much of Browne till they really put him up on a pedestal in this fight. I have been on the Werdum bandwagon for the last three or 4 fights, I think he is getting to be a complete all around fighter. I just don't think he has what it takes to beat Velasquez. :( .
Granted, I don't think ANYONE in the heavyweight division can beat Velasquez.
And I know Velasquez has to fight SOMEONE, and Werdum earned it, but I just would rather him fight Dos Santos, it might be a better match up for the viewer. That being said if Dos Santos had managed to beat Werdum I did NOT want to see another Dos Santos/Velasquez fight.
Who knows, maybe Werdum will "Weidman" Velasquez.
EDIT: I am not a console gamer, but what do you guys think about the new UFC game coming up in June with Bruce Lee as a playable character...oh and Royce Gracie too?
Enjoy it, I didn't spoil anything....though it was really really hard. :D
Episode 19.....Tom is a bad ass. And what do you think she saw?
If you aren't watching the Werdum - Browne fight, you are missing one hell of a fight!!!!
UFC on Fox 11 tonight (April 19th) 8pm EST! Werdum vs Browne. Go Werdum!
Miesha Tate vs. Liz Carmouche
Donald Cerrone vs. Edson Barboza
Brad Tavares vs. Yoel Romero
Even the Prelims don't look too bad:
Rafael dos Anjos vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov
Thiago Alves vs. Seth Baczynski
Jorge Masvidal vs. Pat Healy
Estevan Payan vs. Alex White
Caio Magalhaes vs. Luke Zachrich
Jordan Mein vs. Hernani Perpetuo
Glad you are feeling better, Pringlescan11249 . :)
Jon Jones vs. Glover Teixeira(decision. Maybe wishful thinking on my part, still I think Jones is ripe for the picking.)
Phil Davis vs. Anthony Johnson (he's a decision fighter)
Luke Rockhold vs. Tim Boetsch (KO, rd 2)
Jim Miller vs. Bobby Green (sub, 2nd)
Max Holloway vs. Andre Fili (KO, 3rd)
Joseph Benavidez vs. Tim Elliott (decision)
Takanori Gomi vs. Isaac Vallie-Flagg (decision)
Jessamyn Duke vs. Bethe Correia (decision)
Yancy Medeiros vs. Joe Ellenberger (KO, 1st)
The thing that is driving me nuts about this series, is the sporadic airing of the episodes. Between this one, Person of Interest, and Blacklist that I am watching, and Hannibal and Grimm that my GF enjoys (so I have to keep up with it), I get so lost with some of the characters. Flowers (Raina) for example. I couldn't remember what the hell happened to her. lol. I almost died when it was over a year for the last 8 episodes of Breaking Bad. lol.
As for this episode, it didn't really further the plot any in my opinion. This was more like a filler show. I feel bad for Fitz, cause you can tell he really likes Simmons and he sees himself "losing" her to Triplett. Their whole conversation about things not changing just stuck a dagger in my heart. :D
Anyway it looks like at least for the next few weeks we will be able to see it on the regular. Two more to go for the season?
I have not been the biggest Ultimate Warrior fan. Hearing him on the new DvD and at the HOF induction ceremony really did nothing to change my opinion of him as a wrestler or as a person. As a father on the other hand....
The ONE redeeming quality he had, and the one that actually brought tears to my eyes, was his utter and unabashed love for his daughters. It killed me to hear that he died, and only three days after his speech. I loved the part of his speech where he spoke about the best thing he ever would be, would be their father...and 3 days later...
My heart goes out completely to his kids....it was just so shocking, just when he made up with the WWE and got a new role with them, got into the HOF and then....I just really feel for his family.
Death is a part of life, but in such a shocking and unexpected manner, especially when things were going well for them as far as their relationship with WWE. It's upsetting and shocking and I definitely feel sad for that.
