It was a remarkably popular drug in the 60's, and seems to have gone out of fashion. Or has it? Personally I love the stuff. Not too much, and not too often. But I find it enlightening and a generally positive experience. Anyone else have a view or experience to share?

Back in the 70's when I was growing up. Did it all the time. Use to have a guy (front) me a 100 hits at a time (for a 100 bucks). Sold them for 3 bucks a piece. After getting his money and a little extra (For a lid (that's a 4 finger bag for you youngsters) and some spending money), I would have about 40 hits left. Me and my friends would be trippin'. Did Purple Haze, Orange and Yellow Sunshine, Blotter, Micro-dot, Clearlight, Mescalin, Paper, and my favorite MR. Natural! Those were the days and now there is now. Sometimes the weed would really mellow us out and if someone was having a weird or bad trip, we would give them a Quaylude. That would bring them down. (One time I kept looking at my hand and it would start melting away, but I new I was trippin')

i guess my life is precious to me than moments pleasure, but god has created drugs for a reason (don't know why) so i would like to try weed someday :P

that's sad Onions I had one difficult experience about 15 years ago, but came right once I got warm and safe. Being happy, comfortable and feeling safe is really important. Many make this mistake.

Used to love it.
Once did ten hits of "Alex Grey" acid right before sunset then watched Across the Universe.
Simply Amazing.
Now, the movie lacks a certain "something".
Acid always gave me multiple understandings of fractal and other mathematical problems, while shrooms gave me a more organic, interconnectedness kind of trip. Not much for frivolous recreational hallucinogens, anymore, though I drank a bunch of grape kool-aid/shroom tea as a younger man. Now it's more of a shamanistic kind of knowledge quest thing, and very seldom. You CAN see behind the curtain a bit too much. It's called DMT.

Yes, ONLY ONCE. It was Funny and Hectic and Funny as Hell and Funny.
It was a total of 18 hours tripping for me. 5 hours too long.
Never again. I am too old now. As they say it was fun but now it is over.

Back in the 70,s I used to go to a club called the Twisted Wheel,every type of high was freely available,good times were had by all.Ahh,those were the days.

did it in the 80s and 90s when i was partying but i have to admit i did used to get fed up with the buzz,it just lasted too long

That's a mad amount to take! Once I took 2 1/2 quality tabs. I couldn't clearly see 2 feet in front of my face, let alone watch a movie!
