Hi people,

I'm thinking of buying a console but i don't know which one to buy. Some have said that the PSX 3 breaks down a lot, some have said the Xbox 360 gets a lot of the ring of death. So which console would you buy and why?

I for one would saaaaaayyy... Buy a PS3.. because of my own personal bias mostly =) I bought a PS3 when they first came out and it's still running great! It outlasted my hdtv which actually just burnt out.

Whoever told you that the PS3 "breaks down alot" is on crack. The Xbox has over a 60% chance of breaking within two years. I have two ps3's and an xbox. Both of my ps3's are absolutely perfect, have NEVER had a problem. Free online, netflix, psStore demo's, etc. While my xbox is a peice of s.. I actually gave it to my brother, and since he's had it, two red rings of death, *fixed though,
And you also have to pay for xbox live?! The only thing that I give to the xbox is those controllers. But if your going for performance and games I'd get a ps3, feel free to add me when you get one;)

Jesus, 1000$ on your PS3 already? Could've bought one bad ass PC setup haha. Glad you're happy with your choice, I've never been a Playstation person myself, but then again, I'm a PC gamer :D

well i have had both and i used to be an xbox fanatic. then i got a ps3 on sale at walmart with a $100 gift card. :) hehe
once i started playing i thought man this controller sucks!! but i was really into the uncharted series (ps3 original) and after i beat the game i was like sweet now ill play my xbox games... needless to say once i picked up the 100 pound controller. i couldnt play anything. i felt like i had brick in my hand. so i never went back. and if your thinking about buying an xbox. wait!!!!! the new one comes out next year (do your research) while i do enjoy remoteless kinect thats about it. halo 8000 is still halo. im tired of the same story. just like cod.
and since you have to pay for live (ps3 is free) you might as well buy playstation plus. in fact if you do it this week there are 6 full free games you can keep:
just cause 2
rachet and clank all 4 one
little big planet 2
saints row 2
tomb raider cradle last arc
( i know im forgetting one.)
now on to features ps3 has bluray and 3d xbox doesnt.
1080 p ps3 has it xbox doesn't.
im done listing things i hope you choose the right choice :)

yes it is however i preordered the ultimate loot chest limited edition on ps3 so if you wanna play with me you have to get a ps3 (i have 100 percent achievement and trophies on the game and all 4 dlc for both cause is frieking sweet.
