I should have simply called this spooky tv shows... Yeah, well that way you would certainly have a lot more. With the 70s, there was Doomwatch, Fantastic Journey (about a group of people having strange adventures, whilst stuck in The Bermuda Triangle), The Night Stalker and ITV's Tales of the Unexpected and Armchair Thrillers. The 80s were not a great decade for these kinds of shows, but with the 90s came X Files, Dark Skies, perhaps even Buffy and Angel? Some people may consider the likes of Gerry Anderson's Sci-Fi shows of Captain Scarlet and The Mysterons, UFO and even Space 1999 as "spooky", at least some of the time, depending largely on your definition of the word. Then perhaps you can go into other Sci-Fi shows, such as Land of the Giants, Time Tunnel, Logan's Run and the earlier Dr Who series, although the recently revived Doctor Who also goes "spooky" occasionally. Oh, nearly forgot the 70s show The Tomorrow People. Dark shadows the spooky soap was also running in the 70s
